Business Continuity Management (BCM)
An example of
such a case might be the events of September 11. WTC companies suffered
the loss of their business continuity. Unfortunately, many businesses
had no emergency plans, or if they did, they were badly developed. The
effect of this was, that many of those businesses went bankrupt.
It
can therefore clearly be seen, that business contingency is the key to
maintaining the competitive edge, financial liquidity, profit and
company image.
DTI Information
Security Breaches Survey 2004 clearly shows, that the worst effect of
security breaches is loss of business continuity.
What’s
interesting, this study shows that a quarter of surveyed organizations
experienced cases of business discontinuity for more than one day, and
one of the organizations even for more than a month, all caused by the
Blaster worm!
The conclusion is clear – every
organization is vulnerable to the loss of business continuity. That is
why we must know, how to handle such a situation. We need developed and
tested emergency plans, which include the plans to recover each system
after a disaster happens.
The proposed training course will teach you, how to handle crisis situations, i.e.:
